The Samagra Samajik Suraksha Mission (SSSM) is a government initiative launched in Madhya Pradesh. The mission aims to ensure that the disadvantaged members of society get easy access to various social security schemes as per their needs. There are schemes available for different sections of society, including girls, elderly persons, laborers, those belonging to the below-poverty line (BPL) segment, etc. For effective implementation of these schemes, the state government launched a comprehensive social security program in 2010 and introduced the Samagra portal. All families living in the state are registered on the portal, and citizens are allotted a unique ID known as the SSSM ID.

What is Samagra ID?

Under the SSSM initiative by the Madhya Pradesh government, all citizens are allotted a unique identity number, and the Samagra ID card is issued to them.

Types of Samagra ID

There are two types of Samagra ID allotted under the SSSM scheme:

• Family SSSM ID: It is an eight-digit number allotted to one family.
• Member SSSM ID: It is a nine-digit number allotted to one family member. It is only allotted to members who are registered as members of a family at the time of making the Samagra ID.

Step-by-Step Registration Process

1. Step 1: Go to the samagra.gov.in website and click on the ‘Register the family’ option given in ‘Register family/members as a whole’ option under the ‘Services for Citizens’ section.
2. Step 2: A new page will open on the samagra.gov.in MP portal with the SSMID ID registration form. Complete the form by providing details such as address, family head details, etc.
3. Step 3: Upload the supporting documents and provide details in the given fields, ‘Issued by’ and ‘Issued date’.
4. Step 4: Then, click on ‘Add Family Members’. A new page will open. Complete the form by filling in details such as name, date of birth, age, gender, relation with family head, mobile number, Aadhaar details, and email id. Click on ‘Add Member in Family’ option.

How to Find SSSM ID No?

Users can check their family SSSM ID No online on the portal by following the procedure on how to find Samagra ID given below:

1. Visit the Samagra portal. You will find the ‘Know the overall ID’ option under the ‘Services for Citizens’ section, which has different options:

Online Mode

1. One can get their Samagra through the official http://samagra.gov.in/ website.
2. Login to the portal.
3. Click on the ‘register your family’ link.
4. Complete the fields of the form with the required details.
5. Click on ‘Register Application’ to submit the form.
6. After approval, you will find Samagra ID on the portal under the Know your Samagra ID link. One can download the official Samagra ID.

Offline Mode

To obtain your Samagra Family ID and Member ID, you can visit the nearest Panchayat or District Panchayat and request the officials concerned to create the required ID for you and your family.

How to Find SSSM ID from Mobile Number?

Citizens can search for the Samagra SSSM ID with the help of a mobile number.

1. Visit the website of the Samagra portal.
2. Click on the ‘by mobile number’ option.
3. Enter the mobile number of the member, the age group of the member, the first two letters of the name of the member.
4. Submit the captcha. Click on the View button to find the details.

How to Check New / Temporary Registered Families and Members?

1. Click on ‘New / Temporary Registered Family’ under ‘Find new / temporary family / members’ on the home page of Samagra.
2. On the next page, complete the fields by providing details like district, local body, gram panchayat/zones, village/ward, date, and list type.
3. Submit the code and click on ‘Show records’.

How to Find Samagra Ward and List of Colonies?

1. Click on ‘Go to your ward (colony)’ under ‘Urban Bodies: – Find Colony / Ward’ on the home page.
2. Enter details like district, local body, and colony name.
3. Click on ‘Search’ to find ward information.

To find the list of colonies, click on ‘See list of colonies under ward’ under ‘Urban Bodies: – Find Colony / Ward’. Provide details like district, local body, zone, and ward. Submit the code and click ‘Search’.

SSSM ID: Samagra eKYC

1. Go to the ‘Services For Citizens section’ on the home page of samagra.gov.in portal.
2. Under ‘Update overall profile’, click on ‘Update date of birth, name, and gender through e-KYC’ option.
3. To seed your Aadhaar with your Samagra ID, enter the Composite ID, Aadhaar number, and mobile number.
4. Submit the code and click on ‘Request to get OTP on’.

Under the ‘Update overall profile’ section, there are options provided to request to change the date of birth, name, and gender. Further, there are other options such as:

Citizens can check their Aadhaar eKYC status using their Samagra ID.

2. Click on the ‘Know your e-KYC Status’ on the home page.

How to Make Correction in Samagra ID?

If you want to change any details in your Samagra ID, you can do so in a few easy steps. You can apply for the following corrections in the overall ID:

• Name correction

How to Download Samagra Family ID?

1. If you have the Samagra ID of your family, you can find your Samagra ID through the portal.
2. If you have Samagra ID of any member of your family, you can find your Samagra ID.
3. If the mobile number of any of your family members is registered on Samagra, you can find the Samagra ID with its help.

In case you do not get your Samagra ID through any means, you go to the Gram Panchayat / District Panchayat office (in rural areas) and ward or zone office in urban areas and get your Samagra ID through the Samagra Register of the residents there.

How to Update Composite ID?

Citizens can visit the Samagra portal and click on the ‘Update overall profile’ option. Select one of the given options:

• Update date of birth, name, and gender through e-KYC

Samagra ID Card: How to Print the Card?

To get Samagra ID on the samagra.gov.in website, go to the ‘Know the overall ID’ section under ‘Services for Citizens’ on the home page of the Samagra portal:

Search Samagra ID by Name

One can search Samagra ID by one’s name or the name of any family member, by providing details related to the residence with the name of the district, local bodies, gender, first three letters of the name in English, etc. Further, one may have to provide details like surname (first three letters in English), gram panchayat/ zone, ward, etc.

Search by Family Member Samagra ID

If you have any of your family member’s ID, using this ID you can find out the Samagra ID of yourself and your family. Search by e-Ration Card

Under the Food Security Act, non-income taxpayer of SC/ST families in the state are eligible to avail of food items (5 kg per month per person) from various ration shops through the Public Distribution System (PDS).
