Mumbai Metro Network and Corridors

Mumbai Metro Line 1, also known as the Blue Line, connects Versova with Ghatkopar via Andheri Metro Station. This 11.4 km long route is fully elevated and was developed by the Mumbai Metro One Private Limited (MMOPL), a joint venture between Reliance Infrastructure and MMRDA. Recently, MMRDA announced that the speed of Line 1 would be increased to 80 km/hr, and the number of daily trips has also been increased by 18.

Mumbai Metro Line 8, also known as the Gold Line, is a proposed route connecting the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) and the Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA). The approved length of this route is 35 km, and the project is expected to cost Rs 15,000 crore.
